2007-08 Columbus Figure Skating Club Application (necessary for all club members)
US Figure Skating Membership Form (for new home club members. Renewing members, your information is updated by the membership chair online). Non-home club members should register through their home club.
Membership in US Figure Skating and the Columbus Figure Skating Club runs from July 1 to June 30 each year. The Columbus Figure Skating Club is #670 and part of the Eastern Great Lakes Region and Midwestern Section of U.S. Figure Skating.
Home club members represent the Columbus Figure Skating Club and receive priority acceptance of their test applications and ice contracts. Pending available funding, qualifying competition competitors representing CFSC are eligible to receive recognition stipends as determined by Executive Council. During 2006-2007, all Regionals and Adult Nationals competitors received awards.
Associate Members are members who do not anticipate skating on club sessions (non skating parents, spouses, officials, etc.) It is suggested that junior members (under the age of 18) have a parent join as an associate member in order for the skater's family to have a member eligible to vote at the Fall and Spring meetings.
Non Home Club members represent another club in US Figure Skating but also are members of the Columbus Figure Skating Club to participate in ice sessions, test sessions, exhibitions, ice shows and social opportunities. All skaters and CFSC coaches must be members of the Columbus Figure Skating Club to skate on club ice.
Non CFSC members may participate in test sessions if space permits but pay an out of club fee ($25 each session, not per test). If you anticipate testing you may find it more practical to join as a non-home club member at the beginning of each season ($55 for first family member non home club).
